The day is finally here! Fordham is set to take on La Salle in the A10 Quarterfinals tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. @samdavis_3 and @ryangregware_ have the call on 90.7FM and YouTube Live!
An incredible leader and an example of everything that is a Fordham Ram. Very frustrated and disappointed in this decision by the university. Thank you Coach Urgo for a remarkable 2023 season that I will never forget.
Waited a few days because I felt the news dump one hour before the NCAA tournament was incredibly disingenuous by Fordham.
Respectfully, I’m confident this was the wrong move. On the court Coach Urgo‘s passion was infectious and the buy-in and desire to win at Fordham was something we haven’t seen from other coaches. Personally, he and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming to myself and the WFUV program and made our time at Fordham incredibly special. Will root for him wherever he goes.
Think Keith Urgo had his team ready to play? Fordham dominates Rhode Island 88-71 to advance in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. A tremendous performance from the team from the Bronx from tip to finish.
Get ready‼️

Six and a half years removed from his last visit home, Abdou Tsimbila returned to Cameroon earlier this summer. Witness a homecoming more than a half-decade in the making.

One last thought. The PGA Tour didn’t have to do this. LIV players like Brooks wanted to come back, so let them back in. Make the changes they were making (bigger purses etc) and LIV dies without their stars. Even with unlimited money, LIV’s future wasn’t bright.
Thoughts on the merger (1/2)
1. On the surface this is good for the game of golf by having every player in the same place. HOWEVER
2. This is an example of a popular american sports league looking the other way on Saudi Arabian moral issues. Scary for the future of US sports.
Thoughts on the merger (2/2)
3. Jay Monahan and the PGA Tour have disrespected and screwed over their players who remained loyal to the league and their morals.
4. Brooks and Phil are the big winners, they make all that money and return to the tour they want to play for.
A huge thank you to WFUV Sports alumni and Around the Horn’s Tony Reali (@TonyReali)!
Tony gave students a tour of ESPN’s studios in Manhattan and even let them sit in on a taping of Around the Horn!
"Bang!!!" 🏀
