@ForcePao I had a lot of exposure to Lloyd Austin in 3ID. Served in the Division Main CP during OIF1. We could not have had a better pick for SecDef. The contrast between him and Hegseth is STARK.
@Asst_to_the_RM Hey, the back three were completely exposed last night. On their heels and leaving unmarked players entering the box. Tim Ream looked tiny and slow. Deep crosses from the corner left no possibility for offside traps. It was a shitshow.
@BradDuplessis Lost 20-some pounds at a time I didn’t have much body fat to speak of. Ate two boxes of Tastycakes from a care package. Parents still have the letter I sent them on MRE cardboard. It might have been a bit unhinged.
@rickdicksonreal As a guy who was signal branch detailed infantry, I was … obliged to attend Ranger School. Just like I was obliged to be detailed to the branch at the bottom of my list. Outside of Infantry or Ranger units, there is little opportunity or desire for units to send folks there.
@Asst_to_the_RM@infantrydort The funny thing is: this is a problem endemic to human organizational culture throughout history. It’s not a problem that is going to be solved. Leadership roles and leadership qualities share very little space in the Venn Diagram of life.
@Asst_to_the_RM I can visualize a padded room in HQDA G3/5/7 where half the section is shredding all the plotter sized patch charts for the next three years, and the other half is making room for the incoming pallets of Rip Its and coffee.
