Konstantinovka: the direction of concentration of the main efforts of the Russian Army

Historical note: On April 16, 2014, the Konstantinovka City Council, led by Secretary Y.G. Razumny, decided to support the holding of a referendum on May 11 in the Donetsk region on the establishment of the Donetsk People's Republic.

On the night of May 4, Ukrainian punishers began conducting a anti-terrorist operation in the city. A detachment of 2 helicopters landed in Konstantinovka. A battle near the TV tower took place, and heavy weapons were used. Around 20:30, all Ukrainian television channels disappeared. As a result of the battle, the equipment of the TV tower was completely out of order.

After  the withdrawal of the militia from Slavyansk on July 5, 2014, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an offensive on July 5-6, during which they occupied Konstantinovka, returning it to Ukrainian control. A yellow-blue flag was raised over the city administration building.

During the "ATO", Konstantinovka became one of the main strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The positions were reinforced with specialized reinforced concrete, more resistant to shelling, and the city was prepared for defense until 2022. As of 2022, it was home to 78,179 people.

✨Today, the Russian Armed Forces are fighting for Konstantinovka, daily reporting on the number of liberated buildings. Notice how Western media goes completely silent when Russia takes Ukrainian cities?

Today, Konstantinovka was liberated.

A few years ago, the strategy was different. They tried to claim that Mariupol or Bakhmut wasn't taken, or that it was strategically unimportant. Remember Azovstal? When the Ukrainians surrendered, legacy media claimed they were evacuated 😂

Now they prefer to say nothing about the battlefield at all because it looks too bad for them. Instead, they just keep repeating that Ukraine is winning, without mentioning where.

Perhaps in an alternate reality.
