@NickBertramSM @LICnz If you can its money in the bank for sure. Love the value of low end cows adding something at calving and not breeding from "average" cows back into the herd

@NickBertramSM @LICnz I did it last season. Calved really easy average feeders but gone at 4 days old and pick up was shit and not enough pick ups per week. we are not set up to have extras through to weaning so pulled plug this season 1 less hassle

@dairymanNZ Apparently 50% have the marbled meat at the other end so I heard so the premium they chase is high risk

@dairymanNZ They need to work on a solution, it's not an old problem but just been justified this season with m.b. Either more coin or better pick up system. I understand the difficulty in both however

@EstherTaunton @RodMullin Bottom is the way to go was there just before 6am however to get down the bottom. Left at 3pm 10mins back to TA in the naki by 5.30 go early leave early no problems either way 😁😁
