@yolo_pinyato yeah wallstedt now is a much better value player than gustavsson was back then. probably really difficult to broker a wallstedt trade but i think for STL since they seem to be going in the rebuild direction anyway, building around a 23 yo goalie to start with is appealing imo

@yolo_pinyato Closest thing I can think of for moving Wallstedt for a “top 6 forward” was Gustavsson -> OTT in the Brassard/Pittsburgh trade

@yolo_pinyato yeah but like, he can absolutely be in a package deal for a guy like Thomas/Kyrou (Binnington isn’t the future), or Garland (if the Canucks realize Demko is dead cap) (not a top line guy but yknow)
