This is the only #stretch people use to step out for work, yet it has become a death trap. Tenders are allocated—but where does the #money go? Who is repairing or reconstructing these #roads? Who takes responsibility for the #accidents, #injuries, and vehicle #damage happening daily on this stretch?

A 10-minute ride now takes over an hour. Officials must be forced to travel this stretch themselves to understand the pain residents endure. And where are the elected #politicians? Nowhere to be seen—resting in their comfort zones, only to appear again during #election campaigns.

Enough of this apathy. Accountability must start now.
