Fact Check: 62 % of Kashmiri vocabulary comes directly from Sanskrit and 33% of Kashmiri vocabulary comes indirectly from Sanskrit.
Most Kashmiri place names come from Sanskrit: Shrinagar (Śrīnagara), Baramulla (Varāhamula), Anantnag (Anantanāga), Pampore (Padmapūra), Sopore (Suyyāpura), Harmukh(Haramukha) etc.
Kashmir produced great Sanskrit poets like Bhāmaha, Bilhaṇa, Kṣemendra and Ānandavardhana long before Islam came to Kashmir and long before Urdu was born. If anything is alien to Kashmir, it is not Sanskrit but Urdu and Islam.

The Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation has stated, "There are no references to an official name for KRS Road." However, the above documents provide significant evidence worth reviewing:
A distant relative of Sri Mirza Ismail, the esteemed Diwan of Mysore, resided on what was known as Princess Road. Letters sent from this address clearly reference the name "Princess Road."
The official Mysore Tour Map/Guide published by the Government of India's Survey and Mapping Department explicitly marks and names the road as "Princess Road."
Records from 1921 confirm that the Mysore Urban Development Trust Board formally named this road as "Princess Road."
Instead of creating unnecessary confusion by proposing a renaming, it is vital to acknowledge the road’s historical and cultural significance. Recognizing its origins and honoring the contributions of the royal family to society is essential. Ensuring their legacy is preserved and introducing this heritage to future generations is a shared responsibility of the corporation and the government.

Princess Road: A Path of Legacy and Compassion – Dedicated to the remarkable contributions of the royal family, this road honors Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Princess Krishnajammanni, Princess Jayalakshmiammani, Princess Cheluvajammanni, Yuvaraja Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar, and Colonel Desa Raj Urs. Their visionary efforts, including the establishment of the Princess Krishnajammanni Sanatorium, have left an indelible mark on public welfare and healthcare. This name serves as a timeless reminder of their dedication and compassion, a legacy that must be cherished and preserved for generations to come.
Indians are the most hated community in the US today. Americans hate a highly skilled legal Indian Immigrant more than any illegal Mexican drug trafficker or house maid.
Despite the fact that Indo-Americans have least crime rate of all ethnicities, contribute most to the tax, have zero involvement in tεrrorism. Almost all are English speaking legal migrants and model minorities.
Why? Indians are beating Americans on a fair level field. Today every American is afraid of a capable and talented Indian snatching away his job. Never was the American society so rattled and afraid of anyone since 1945.
The issue was never about illegal immigration. It was always about skin color.
Indians have exposed the racist and rattled face of American society like nobody else ever before.
Less than 0.5% of ethnic Indians are U.S. citizens or residents. Those who talk about 'brain drain' are essentially implying that 99.5% of Indians are incapable.
This is a highly erroneous underestimation. For the world's largest ethnicity, there is no shortage of talent but rather a shortage of infrastructure and opportunities that can adequately reward their capabilities. For every person migrating, there is someone else ready to take their place.
Indians can flood the U.S. and still have more than enough talent to drive India's progress. For some communities, particularly from the General category, who do not receive sufficient opportunities at home, migration becomes a better career choice. Overseas racism, however, denies these opportunities and must be opposed by all Indians.
The Indian diaspora is one of our greatest strengths, and we should never give up on it.
The publication of an incorrect map of India not only constitutes a breach of Geospatial information standards but also violates the law. U/s 74 of the IPC, displaying a wrong map of India is a clear offense. It is also a violation under the National Honor Act. This is the way how the Congress celebrates its historic CWC session by distorting map of India not showing PoK as part of Indian territory. Shame on @INCKarnataka
I appeal to the @SPBelagavi to register a case against the organizers for wrongfully depicting the map of India immediately.
Preserve the Legacy: Do Not Rename Princess Road to Siddaramaiah Arogya Marga
The Historical Significance of Princess Road
Princess Road, popularly known as KRS Road, is more than just a name; it carries immense historical and cultural significance for Mysuru. The road is named after two distinguished princesses: Princess Krishnajammanni Avaru and Princess Cheluvajammanni Avaru, both daughters of Maharaja Chamaraja Wadiyar and Maharani Kempananjammanni of Vanivilasa Sannidhana.
The road honors:
Princess Krishnajammanni Avaru, whose memory lives on through the PK Sanatorium established in her name.
Princess Cheluvajammanni Avaru, whose residence, Cheluvamba Mansion, now houses the CFTRI, is also located on this road.
The Legacy of Princess Krishnajammanni Avaru
Princess Krishnajammanni Avaru’s life was marked by personal tragedy and significant contributions to Mysuru’s history. Married to Col. Jagirdar Desraj Urs, she and her three daughters succumbed to tuberculosis between 1904 and 1913. To honor her memory:
Her family donated 100 acres of land to establish the Princess Krishnajammanni Sanatorium (PKTB Hospital).
Her brother, Maharaja Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, built the Karanji Mansion, which became her family’s residence until it was sold to the Government of India in 1964.
The Contributions of the Royal Family
The royal family’s vision for healthcare led to the establishment of the PK Sanatorium:
In 1918, Maharani Kempananjammanni laid the foundation stone for the sanatorium on the outskirts of Mysuru.
Col. Desraj Urs contributed ₹75,000, a significant sum at the time, for its construction and facilities.
Opened in 1921, the hospital served as a dedicated tuberculosis treatment center. It has since expanded to house multiple facilities, including the Jayadeva Heart Hospital, Trauma Care Centre, and Super-Speciality Hospital.
Cultural and Historical Importance
Princess Road embodies Mysuru’s history and the Wadiyar family’s legacy. Renaming it to Siddaramaiah Arogya Marga would erase an important connection to the city’s heritage:
The road commemorates the contributions of the princesses and the royal family.
It reminds future generations of the importance of preserving historical landmarks tied to Mysuru’s cultural identity.
Why the Renaming is Inappropriate?
While respecting modern leaders and their contributions, the renaming of Princess Road diminishes the historical narrative and legacy of Mysuru:
The road already holds deep cultural significance due to the history of PK Sanatorium and Cheluvamba Mansion.
Erasing these names disregards the royal family’s monumental efforts in healthcare and community service.
The rich history of Princess Road must be preserved. Let us honor the memory of Princess Krishnajammanni Avaru and her family’s contributions by maintaining the name that reflects Mysuru’s cultural and historical heritage. Decisions regarding public landmarks should respect the sentiments of the community and the legacy they carry.
Together, we can ensure that Mysuru’s history continues to inspire and guide future generations.
In his own words, Francis Xavier experienced 'extreme joy' in breaking down Hindu temples and desecrating Hindu Gods.
The Hindu kings of Kerala were tolerant towards Xavier. They even gave him money to build his churches. That did not stop Xavier from his hateful mission of destroying Hindu culture and civilization.
Portuguese forcibly converted many Hindu Dalit fishermen. Many of these converts used to worship Hindu Gods secretly.
When Francis Xavier came to know about this, he burnt the huts of these Dalit converts. This was a punishment for secretly worshiping Hindu deities.
According to Francis Xavier, Indian women were 'black and ugly monsters whose sight is unbearable'.
According to him, 'black and ugly Indian women' were unfit to be even Portuguese Concubines.
It is amazing that in 21st century, most visitors to his grave are Indian and 'Hindu' women.

This Portuguese "Saint" used to say that Indians were black and ugly "monsters whose sight is unbearable".
This colonialist destroyed many Hindu temples with his own hands. He wrote many letters to the Portuguese king advocating for inquisition in Goa. He was thus directly responsible for Goan inquisition which kiIIed thousands of Hindus and some Jews.
In June this year, an Islamic tεrrrorist attack kiIIed 9 people in Jammu. Nobody outside India knew or bothered.
Today, a tεrror attack in Germany claimed 5 lives and entire world is expressing support.
Why are Indian lives cheaper?
We ignored their slander and burning campaign of Manusmiriti because it is somehow 'not even our religious book'. But it does not stop there. They already are burning Ramcharitmanas citing a few allegedly 'problematic verses'.
By this yardstick of judging pre-modern texts with modern egalitarian-globalist sensibilities, every Hindu scripture from Vedas to 20th century Dharmasindhu contains such allegedly "problematic verses". Therefore, we are allowing every single scripture to be confined to flames. By not resisting, we are opening flood gates. When they burn every single scripture tomorrow, some of us might still delude ourselves that 'Hinduism is not really a dogmatic religion and therefore scriptures do not matter'. They will then come after temples labeling them as Anti Dalit and Misogynist. It will be your family after temples. What then?
They slander and burn Hindu scriptures without reading it. But they respect Muslim and Christian scriptures without reading it.
They manufacture fake misogynist verses to slander Hindu scriptures. But they ignore real misogynist verses in Buddhist scriptures.
This is the beauty of Indian woke secularism.
