London : In a bid to amplify the voices of the oppressed in Balochistan, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) brought its human rights campaign to the heart of British democracy. The BNM held a lobbying event in the Houses of Parliament, London, to expose the ongoing human rights violations perpetrated by the Pakistani state in Balochistan. The event, organized in collaboration with the @johnmcdonnellMP , took place in the Jubilee Room and was attended by a significant number of BNM members led by party chairman @DrNaseemBaluch .
During the session, BNM highlighted critical issues such as enforced disappearances, the “Kill and Dump” policy, arbitrary detentions, and the widespread crackdown on political dissent. Particular attention was drawn to the ongoing repression of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) members and other political activists.
The lobbying event brought together family members of Baloch martyrs and victims of enforced disappearances, who gave powerful testimonies about their suffering and the trauma inflicted by state policies. Survivors of illegal detention shared their harrowing experiences, shedding light on the systematic abuses taking place in secret prisons.
The political question of Balochistan and its unresolved status was also discussed with British MPs and their delegations. Several parliamentarians attended the event in person, while others sent their representatives in solidarity.
BNM members also reached out to their MPs in advance of the event, ensuring a strong presence and engagement from across the political spectrum.
According to the BNM spokesperson, the lobbying day marked a significant step in internationalizing the Baloch cause and urging the international community to take concrete action against human rights abuses in Balochistan.

When I was thrown into the same van as my brother [Bebarg Baloch], he said: “Forgive me if they torture you to break me. But I can’t abandon Baloch rights—not for you, not for anyone.
To all who stood for my release: thank you.
