Some may call him incompetent, unintelligent, or even a fool at times… but I personally like and respect him 🙏

I felt saddened after seeing a news report today. A seizure notice has been issued to M. K. Muneer, who has served multiple times as an MLA and minister. Remember, his father C. H. Mohammed Koya was a former Chief Minister.

Baby John once wrote in his autobiography that after a cabinet fell, he saw C.H. standing outside the Secretariat with a small bag. When asked why he was waiting, C.H. replied, “If you have some money, please lend me bus fare to Kozhikode.” This shows the integrity of a leader who never misused public funds.

It is in that same spirit that his son can proudly say before the public: “I am in debt.” He could have used power and party connections to make crores—but he didn’t.

It is also said that after C.H.’s passing, the government had to step in to support his son’s education—another sign that neither father nor son used politics for personal wealth.

A son of C.H. who proved through his life that power is not a means to make money 👏
Even after serving as a minister and MLA, handling major departments like Public Works, he did not amass illegal wealth. This bank notice itself stands as the biggest proof of that integrity.

I deeply respect him ❤️
Years ago, he introduced the vision of an Express Highway for Kerala—at a time when people mocked him for it. He even started the India Vision channel, which brought him significant liabilities.

If only all politicians were like him… 🙏
