I wish I could say that I don't care about Product Hunt.

The truth is, even our last Product Hunt launch did not result in a major revenue bump. Then why do we still care? Why promote it at all?

To put it bluntly,

- Product Hunt is a free and the most accessible PR activity. It helps you reach out to a bunch of tech enthusiasts and evangelists. Even if they don't sign up, the word goes out.

- Once in a while, people give useful feedback on your launch post. Higher rank = better visibility on the home page = more feedback.

- A top 3 product of the day badge adds credibility and authority to your website and can potentially increase conversion.

- A top product of the week badge is even better and Product Hunt only provides them to the top 5 products.

We launched NotionApps 2.0 today and we are trailing #3 behind some AI tools (tbh, they are some equally exciting products do check them out on the home page).

Sadly, there is only one #1 Product of the Day badge. And yes I am asking.

You might have noticed how I often mention that we are a small team of 2. It is not merely to paint @trynotionapps as a David among the Goliaths.

It is because we take immense pride in our execution speed—a pace that is comparable to the best-funded no-code platforms out there.

Here is a message from my co-founder @jatinarora269, about how the other day he paused to reflect on everything we rolled out in the past six months. The list isn't even exhaustive, we added many more features, performance improvements and fixes.

Jatin has been owning tech for the product, has a massive bias for execution and is so humble that he describes the pace as just "decent enough"—but I’d say it’s nothing less than impressive.
