2️⃣ Post-hoc SURMOUNT-5 analysis:
📉 Lower predicted 10-yr CVD risk with tirzepatide vs semaglutide
🌍 Projection: millions of preventable primary CVD events globally


3️⃣ Real-world & data align:
✅ Tirzepatide linked with lower risk of MI, stroke, & all-cause mortality
✅ Potential 2M preventable CVD events over 10 years with tirzepatide vs 1.5M with semaglutide

4️⃣ Key takeaway:
In adults with obesity (no diabetes/CVD), tirzepatide may provide greater CVD risk reduction than semaglutide.
