It is with heavy heart, to inform you of the tragic death of Saddleback Football alum Hiram DeFries (21/22). Hiram passed away while piloting a cargo plane with another pilot which crashed near the Honolulu Airport. Hiram’s tragic death occurred on Tuesday, December 17 around 3:00 PM Hawaii time. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to the DeFries family in Hawaii and his grandfather Hiram Sr who lives here in Mission Viejo. More details to follow once released.

We had the honor of presenting lifesaving awards to @City_of_Irvine Portola High School P.E. teacher Brittany Frymire and athletic trainer Kathryn Cleek for their quick actions that saved the life of a student in March.
