What If Satan's Strategy Has Always Been the Same: Destroy the Jews, Stop the Messiah?

A Biblical Timeline of Satan's War Against God's Promise

🐍 EDEN: THE WAR BEGINS

Genesis 3:15

God promises a coming Deliverer.

"He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

Satan declares war on the promised Seed.

From that moment forward, two opposing purposes emerge:

God's plan to bring the Redeemer.

Satan's plan to stop Him.

Jesus later declared:

"Salvation is from the Jews." (John 4:22)

The battle was never merely about one nation.

It was about God's plan to bring salvation to the world through the Messiah.

🌱 THE PROMISED LINE

God narrows the covenant line:

Abraham → Isaac → Jacob → Judah → David → Messiah

(Genesis 12:3; 21:12; 28:13-15; 49:10; 2 Samuel 7:16)

"The scepter will not depart from Judah." (Genesis 49:10)

"Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before Me." (2 Samuel 7:16)

Once the line is revealed, Satan's objective becomes obvious:

Destroy the people.

Destroy the kingdom.

Destroy the promise.

Destroy the Messiah.

🔥 ATTACKS ON THE COVENANT LINE

Pharaoh orders Hebrew infants killed.

Moses survives.

Athaliah attempts to wipe out David's royal line.

Joash survives.

Haman plots the extermination of the Jewish people.

Esther intervenes.

Herod slaughters Bethlehem's children.

Jesus is protected.

Matthew records:

"Out of Egypt I called My Son." (Matthew 2:15)

Again and again the covenant line hangs by a thread.

Again and again God preserves it.

Again and again Satan fails.

🐉 REVELATION PULLS BACK THE CURTAIN

Revelation 12 reveals the spiritual reality behind the conflict.

John sees:

"A woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars." (Revelation 12:1)

The imagery comes directly from Joseph's dream (Genesis 37:9-10) and points to Israel.

Then:

"The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child." (Revelation 12:4)

The woman is Israel.

The Child is Messiah.

The dragon is Satan.

Messiah is born.

Messiah ascends.

The dragon fails.

Then:

"The dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring." (Revelation 12:17)

The war continues.

📜 THE SAME WAR IN EVERY AGE

Pogroms.

Expulsions.

Forced conversions.

Inquisitions.

The Holocaust.

Modern terrorism.

Rising global antisemitism.

Why?

Because Satan understands prophecy.

He knows God's promises are connected to a people, a land, a city, and a King.

📍 GOD'S PROMISES ARE SPECIFIC

A People → Israel

A Land → Canaan

A City → Jerusalem

A King → Messiah

God promised Abraham:

"I will give to you and your descendants after you... all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession." (Genesis 17:8)

The psalmist wrote:

"The LORD chose Zion; He desired it for His dwelling." (Psalm 132:13)

Samuel declared:

"The LORD will not forsake His people for His great name's sake." (1 Samuel 12:22)

Jeremiah added:

"Only if these decrees vanish from My sight... will Israel ever cease being a nation before Me." (Jeremiah 31:35-36)

Jerusalem remains at the center of world attention exactly as Scripture foretold:

"I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all peoples." (Zechariah 12:3)

⚠️ THE REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY QUESTION

Paul asks the question many still ask today:

"Did God reject His people?" (Romans 11:1)

His answer is immediate:

"By no means!"

Paul warns Gentile believers:

"Do not boast over those branches." (Romans 11:18)

He reminds us:

"The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." (Romans 11:29)

Paul's expectation is not Israel's cancellation.

It is Israel's restoration.

"And so all Israel will be saved." (Romans 11:26)

Replacement Theology struggles to explain why Scripture repeatedly promises Israel's future restoration long after her failures.

God's covenant faithfulness is one of the central themes of the Bible.

👑 THE DRAGON KNOWS WHAT COMES NEXT

Jesus did not say Israel would never see Him again.

Nor did He say Israel had been permanently rejected.

Instead, He attached His return to a future condition:

"You will not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.'" (Matthew 23:39)

Notice the word until.

Israel's leaders had rejected their Messiah, but Jesus pointed forward to a future generation that would welcome Him.

This is not language of replacement.

It is language of postponement and future restoration.

Zechariah foresaw that moment centuries earlier:

"They will look on Me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him." (Zechariah 12:10)

Paul likewise looked ahead to Israel's national turning:

"And so all Israel will be saved." (Romans 11:26)

The dragon understands what these passages mean.

If Israel one day recognizes her Messiah, the King returns.

That is why the war against Israel continues.

The conflict is not merely about territory.

It is about prophecy.

🌍 THE COMING KINGDOM

Isaiah foresaw a day when:

"Out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:3)

Zechariah declared:

"The LORD will be King over all the earth." (Zechariah 14:9)

And the nations will say:

"Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." (Zechariah 8:23)

The story ends exactly where God said it would.

With Messiah reigning from Jerusalem.

Pharaoh failed.

Athaliah failed.

Haman failed.

Herod failed.

Hitler failed.

The dragon will fail.

🦁 GOD'S PROMISES STAND

"The one who scattered Israel will gather them." (Jeremiah 31:10)

"I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted." (Amos 9:15)

"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah." (Revelation 11:15)

The Lion of Judah reigns forever.

The question is not whether God will keep His promises.

The question is whether we will believe what He said before He fulfills it.

I was a lifelong Democrat. I thought most conservatives were ignorant or evil or lying. I believed almost everything written in the New York Times, The New Republic, and the Atlantic. I was horrified when conservatives criticized the authorities. Every criticism I saw: I thought all of it was motivated by animus, resentment, self-interest, or ignorance.

Whatever truth there might have been in the criticism, I saw as a mere "half-truth": an exploitation of this or that cherrypicked fact being weaponized. Why did I see it in terms of weaponization? Because I was biased: I saw liberal establishment institutions and figures as fundamentally good, so all criticism of them was automatically interpreted as being in bad faith.

Didn't the critics know that these institutions or figures were fundamentally good? If they didn't, they were ignorant. If they did, they were evil. It was that simple. This meant that any legitimate criticisms would just be dismissed, as if bouncing off of an impenetrable bulletproof shield.

This all changed once I started writing about the pandemic. Soon people started talking about me the way I once thought about conservatives. This led to a complete identity collapse as I came to understand that my old worldview was hateful and ignorant, that I hadn't understood what I had been judging.

I cannot forget the hearing that led to my dismissal from medical school a year after I started writing. During the hearing, people talked about me as if I wasn't human. My behavior was interpreted in the worst possible light. Complete fabrications were created. Nobody was concerned with the truth, only horrified at my apparent "unprofessional behavior", which was really a mirror of their unprofessional behavior directed at me. They structured the hearing to make it virtually impossible for me to speak and explain that what was being said was a lie. And nobody seemed to have any problem with this. Why? Because I was bad. If I am bad, then every mistreatment and every violation of the school's own policies became justified. A person who is bad does not deserve any rights. They only deserve punishment.

But the thing I remember most was the allusions to my social media activity. They said, "Kevin is driven by resentment from his childhood." I wasn't. I was on good terms with my parents. They alleged that I needed psychotherapy to deal with this trauma. It was a completely fake story that they had constructed about me, to demean me, to marginalize me, to try to explain the views I had expressed: that something terribly wrong had happened during the pandemic. They couldn't imagine that I might have legitimate points. So they reduced me to the same kinds of psychological caricatures that I once reduced conservatives to in my own mind.

When I was dismissed, I was broken. But I had help from friends who helped me understand what happened. And I came to realize that a hysteria had overtaken the left. I spent a lot of time reading about show trials, about witch trials, and so on. I also connected with people who had experienced similar things and came to realize that something similar had happened to hundreds of physicians around the country. My story wasn't unique. It was all the same story over and over again.

I cannot believe the person I once was. I cannot believe that I could exist like that. I still don't understand how I could be like that, or how millions of people in this country could continue being like that. It disturbs me greatly.

One thing I know is that whatever this thing is that is driving people crazy needs to be destroyed. It is hostile to civilization and to our humanity. It causes us to dehumanize each other and try to destroy each other. It is the very same monstrous thing that I once attributed to conservatives. But it had been inside me, and I could now see it inside others. This is something I still grapple with.
