Kamala! If you’re gonna do this, you’re gonna need a Venn Diagram Coordinator. I believe I am that person. I graduated with a degree in shapes with a special concentration in The 3 Circles and I am confident that I can produce sufficient team-building and joy-inducing overlap.
@FritzandOscars Traffic is brilliant and Gladiator is an all-time crowdpleaser, toss up for me. Aronofsky (“Requiem for a Dream”), Harron (“American Psycho”) & Crowe (“Almost Famous”) deserved spots here too!
@FritzandOscars David Lynch and it’s a miracle he was even nominated at the time! Stone is also a great winner, and James Cameron should be here for Aliens. & a long shot I would have liked to see nominated is Jim Jarmusch for Down by Law.
@FritzandOscars I can’t deny Silence of the Lambs but JFK & Beauty and the Beast are SO good. Boyz n the Hood, Thelma & Louise, and Terminator 2 could have been here!
@mrbrianrowe Definitely American Beauty, her Carolyn is everything, hilarious, heartbreaking, campy & intense. I would say she should’ve won that year but I think Reese Witherspoon for Election should have been nominated & won! Bening also should have been nominated in supporting for Bugsy.
@mrbrianrowe I think his nominated performances have gotten better and better, I wonder how often that happens? (exception is Spotlight, I thought Keaton should have taken his spot.) I want to concur with others and say that You Can Count on Me is my fave Ruffalo, but that is probably lead.
