@Spidops6767@infodexx That’s where the “White Liberal” part comes in, but you didn’t bother to go any further, that cultural lack of intellectual curiosity can sometimes prove difficult to overcome. 🤔
Thomas Sowell never fails to be on target 🎯
My former philosophy department at @UGent banned the teaching of this paper by Anomaly & Faria, in a philosophy class by my colleague Bouke De Vries. Why? Because it discusses demography and migration as potential threats to liberal societies, and something called “biocultural continuity”! The horror! It sounds almost... conservative! Someone please protect the students!
If you ask me, one of the main dangers facing liberalism is precisely that (some) liberals want to shut down debate about the threats it faces. So what else could we do? Bouke invited me to join efforts and write a paper in reply, which critically evaluates and challenges Anomaly & Faria's argument. It has now been accepted for publication.
So can liberalism survive itself? Anomaly and Faria fear it may not, pointing to low birth rates, cultural fragmentation, mass migration from illiberal cultures, and liberalism’s self-imposed constraints. In our paper, we’re more hopeful. Open societies adapt faster; people defect and switch ideologies when facades crack; technology gives them an edge; and authoritarian regimes have demographic problems of their own. Liberalism ain't finished yet.
This was a somewhat adversarial collaboration, which are often the most interesting. Bouke is more pessimistic and tends to think that demography (largely) determines our destiny, whereas I take a more sanguine view of the robustness of liberal democracy and focus more on cultural transmission—which can undermine demographic advantages through the horizontal transmission of ideas and ideological defection. Liberalism is inherently attractive, and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
To be published soon—and banned in a classroom near you!
Just for your information.
Everything in this video was filmed this month. August 2026.
The world has been manipulated by these people for far too long.
No more believing Free Palestine lies.
Stand up to it.
H/t @GAZAWOOD2
@ASavageNation wtf are you talking about?
Zionism is the reverse of “manifest destiny”
Israel was conquered by 8 major imperial powers after Jewish exile, from the Byzantines, Arabs, Turks and Brits, finally returning to the Jews
Zionism is decolonization in action
The real question isn’t which Jews are Jewish.
It’s why some Jews denigrate themselves while aiding antisemites, continuing a pattern with a long and painful history.
@doctor_rahmeh Lol. You are an insignificance. Soon you will be forgotten - and we will still be reciting the same prayers, and living joyfully in the land of Israel.
It is rather amazing how many widely accepted narratives about the Gaza war and Israel have been completely debunked in recent weeks. Especially after terror groups started announcing death notices for their commanders.
You will note that the media extensively ran with all these narratives without hesitation, despite there being clear evidence of them being unsupported by the facts even at the time.
3 key examples:
1) Israel targeted journalists:
This claim was highly reliant on the CPJ list of killed "journalists". Then the death notices exposed that many on that list were militants. CPJ started secretly removing names and has since announced a full review of their list, but a new analysis shows a majority remaining on the list had terror ties, and dozens are confirmed militants.

2) Israel intentionally starved Palestinians in Gaza as part of a war strategy.
This was always an absurd claim, given Gaza received more aid per capita than any war zone in recent history with Israel's active support.
But the recent report showing Gaza has malnutrition levels below most of the region and that the expected famine deaths never developed really killed this narrative, which highly relied on data manipulation by the UN and willing dupes in the media.

3) Israel targeted healthcare workers.
Recent death notices have clearly shown that many of the healthcare worker fatalities had dual roles as militants.
Here is a thread with 96 examples: https://t.co/alOVgGmENM
In January 2024, the world’s leading famine expert gave Gaza two weeks until catastrophic mass starvation.
Alex de Waal wrote the standard textbook on famine, runs the World Peace Foundation, and helped write starvation crimes into international law. When the media says ‘famine experts warn,’ this is who they mean.
In January 2024, he did an interview with Owen Jones and made a series of predictions/declarations about starvation in Gaza.
0:00 “I’ve not seen anything like this before” in 40 years
0:21 Famine “probably by early February [2024],” nothing like it in 75 years
1:29 Even a ceasefire cannot stop the deaths, “those deaths are on Israel”
2:33 Starvation deaths “will soon exceed those directly from violence”
2:50 “A catastrophe the likes of which we have not seen in my lifetime”

What actually happened:
The IPC’s own Famine Review Committee, June 2024: the famine claims were “not plausible,” and “the available evidence does not indicate that Famine is currently occurring.”

Gaza’s recorded malnutrition death rate in 2025 (74 deaths through late July, per the WHO) works out to roughly the same per-capita rate as the United States, where the CDC counted over 20,000 malnutrition deaths in 2022.

After the October 2025 ceasefire, a UNICEF-led survey found 0.5 percent acute child malnutrition in Gaza, one of the lowest rates in the region.

Every single declaration was false at the time.
Every single prediction didn’t happen.
The only thing that collapsed in February 2024 was Alex de Waal’s credibility.
It's so funny to me that the same people who argue against Jews' indigeneity to Israel will make posts like this.
'Why yes, you have maintained a deep cultural and religious connection to the land you come from for over 2,400 years. Stop doing that and "repent" or we will continue to harass Jews across the world because you don't belong in the Levant.'
We won't be doing that. We will never be doing that. We chose long ago to keep our peoplehood alive, and people far smarter than you have tried to erase us. It isn't happening.
@k1nghenryIV@LevineJonathan@tedcruz Muslims aren’t a race, but you could have said the same thing about Palestinians a couple of decades ago…so…might as well, I guess? 🤷♂️
