The Taliban have effectively excluded Afghan women from society, confining them to their homes and even preventing men from interacting or speaking with them, under the pretext of protecting Islam. Yet, the same Taliban openly socialize, dine, laugh, and enjoy themselves with Chinese women in public in Kabul .
The question arises: why is there no sign of the same Islam and ideology that condemns Afghan women to silence and isolation in these situations?
