My mum passed recently age 91 she was getting so worried about the country and what it was turning into she was born in 1934 went through evacuation during the war and then fought through the hardships that followed always had a smile on her face and nothing got her down as she was so grateful of how life improved for her over the years - I’m glad in a way she won’t be here to see it crumble it’s so sad

Thank you I couldn’t bare to watch him being run down by the teachers telling him he just wasn’t bright enough when he was so so clever is so many other ways. I don’t blame the teachers they didnt have the knowledge/resources but I wasn’t prepared for my son to believe he was stupid for the rest of his life! It’s interest free for the first 5 years then it’s charged at 1.75% plus inflation if not paid back at the beginning of year six - the interest then increases year on year u have 25 years to pay it back. Trouble is new builds are overpriced and you have to pay back 20% of what the property is on the date you repay the loan so it can increase considerably and u less you have savings you have to add it to ur mortgage
