@Will4Planet@Google Please boost this boost. You want the reach extended to all retail and HNI prospects. 8.7k impressions will not do. We need to capture retail, Will, and make $PL what Robinhood $RH is to investors.
You are entitled to your opinion; I respect that. I am a retail investor, have been doing this for a decent time, i feel presented and empowered by @amitisinvesting. He is by far the best thing to have happened to retail; every morning without fail, he steps forward to make sense of things. This is my opinion: he is the best thing to happen to the retail cohort. Respect that. @amitisinvesting
@wino911@realpeteyb123 No. But it would have been okay if we had a plan for route B to Hormuz, ready, functioning, and protected for oil to flow. This wasn't well planned.
@SavianoAlan@Geiger_Capital Let's be honest here. We didn't have a plan B ready for the war; had we had a plan, there should have been an alternate Hormuz oil route ready, protected, and functioning before the war started. All this oil caused, the rest i agree, geopolitics i leave it to politicians.
$PL @Will4Planet@planet . Your team should look at the latest quarterly earnings summary displayed on various trading platforms, which appears wrong with inaccurate numbers, such as a loss of EPS, whereas there was a positive EPS. I have attached a live view of Webull; have a look at the numbers misleading retail. Ask your team to reach out and have it corrected. They should be on top of this.
Another feather in the cap for @jefftgreen. $TTD is out of the S&P 500.
Companies spend years building the scale, consistency and investor confidence required to earn a place in the S&P 500. Trade Desk managed to lose that distinction in roughly a year.
At some point, this canโt continue to be explained away as market conditions, temporary headwinds or another transition year. Leadership owns the scoreboard.
@jefftgreen Being a founder cannot mean being insulated from accountability when execution repeatedly disappoints and shareholders keep paying the price.
And that raises the biggest question for $TTD shareholders:
If the leadership team was behind the curve getting us here, why should shareholders believe the same team will suddenly be ahead of the curve getting us out?
The Board needs to start asking that question too. @Vanguard_Group@StateStreet@BlackRock@twosigma.
@Will4Planet@planet Thanks, @Will4Planet. You are the custodian of our wealth; that's a huge responsibility. Commentary should be carefully scripted and should not unnecessarily raise red flags, as it did this time. Keep up the execution; we want the stock to go back to 50 again.
$TTD: As a shareholder, I believe this is no longer just one bad quarter, itโs a failure of leadership. Management had years to anticipate changing market dynamics, adapt strategy, and protect shareholder value, but failed to do so. Over the past several months, weโve seen significant organizational and leadership changes, hiring and departures, and strategic shifts. In my view, these developments raise serious questions about direction and execution. A leadership team that was behind the curve cannot be expected to suddenly get ahead of it and lead the turnaround. The board and major institutional shareholders have a fiduciary responsibility to demand accountability, conduct an independent review of senior leadership, and make whatever leadership changes are necessary. The status quo is unacceptable. Shareholders deserve leadership that can restore confidence, execute with discipline, and create long-term shareholder valu
