There are almost 40,000 orphans in Gaza having lost one or both parents since October 2023, nearly half of them have lost both, due to the cruel attacks by the military occupation. This is unfathomable - the speed, the violence of the deaths, and the lack of social and mental health support, make it even more devastating.

The Sameer Project is acutely aware of the psychological turmoil these vulnerable children are under and we will continue to provide them with these events - again, just moments of joy - but an emotional reprieve from their daily pain.
