Just had parents at a PRN event tell me I didn’t deserve to have the letters AT on my shirt because I wouldn’t diagnose their kid with a concussion and insisted they go to an urgent care. THIS is why there is a “shortage” of athletic trainers.

@HunterAmosATC @BigB_TheeAT But there is research out that that shows when someone with that cap on and a regular helmet collide the risk for a cervical spine injury increases exponentially. They aren’t taking that into consideration at all.

@BigB_TheeAT There was a study that was done that there are 6 helmets that test better than any helmet with that dumb thing on it. If they really cared about player safety they would mandate that all players had to wear one of those 6 helmets.
