Let us talk about Mamata Banerjee’s disastrous governance. Just ONE year into her rule in 2012, NCRB exposed West Bengal as No.1 in India for crimes against women, a horrific 12.67% of the nation's total with 30,942 cases including 2,046 rapes and nearly 20k domestic cruelty cases.
Her brilliant solution? Stop the police from filing FIRs, silence victims and pretend West Bengal magically became safe.

When that wasn't enough, her government stopped sending crime stats altogether! As reported, the NCRB had to explicitly flag that West Bengal failed to submit data in 2019, forcing them to reuse old figures of 2018.

Compare that toxic cover-up culture to actual, fearless accountability today: Under BNS Rape section, 346 FIRs were filed and 283 are ALREADY chargesheeted.

Obtaining Turkish citizenship under the fake identity of Navab Virk, he had continued to smuggle heroin and methamphetamine to India from Afghanistan. Our agencies tracked him down, ripping apart veil after veil to unmask his true identity, and secured his deportation. Today he has been brought back to India and put behind bars in connection with cases involving drug trafficking and other crimes he is accused of. Congratulations to all the agencies for this success.

Modi govt destroyed the ISI-backed terror group Shahzad Bhatti Network ahead of Independence Day and thwarted its plans for subversive attacks by arresting more than 200 operatives.

Indian security forces ripped apart the network by launching coordinated operations across different locations in 14 states upholding a brilliant example of India's zero-tolerance towards terrorism.

Substantial recoveries, including IEDs, grenades bearing Pakistan Ordnance Factory markings, pistols, live cartridges, and CCTV cameras used for espionage, were made from the ISI-funded group. The network was involved in several terrorist activities.

It was a great privilege to pay my humble tributes and participate in the commemorative events held across Kolkata today:
📍Paying floral tributes to his Statue at Red Road.
📍At BJP State Office; 6 Murlidhar Sen Lane.
📍 Mitra Institution in Bhabanipur, where Dr. Mukherjee was a Student more than a century ago.

We will always remain indebted to Dr. Mukherjee for his extraordinary vision and efforts, which led to the creation of West Bengal as a State of India, otherwise we would have been forced to live in 'the then East Pakistan' or modern day Bangladesh.
