لا يقتصر الأمر على أنّ هذه القلعة مُدرجة على القائمة التمهيدية لمواقع التراث العالمي لدى اليونسكو، بل مُنحت أيضًا حماية معززة مؤقتة من قبل اليونسكو في نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني 2024، ومع ذلك تمّت ملاحظة انتهاك آخر للبروتوكول الثاني لاتفاقية لاهاي صباح ١٧ نيسان ٢٠٢٦.

It was an honor to have had a guided architectural tour today by Mr. George Arbid about the Residency of the Brazilian Ambassador in Baabda. We had the chance to meet the wife of the ambassador as well, as she explained about her book and art collections!
