Colombia es mi pasion 💛💛💙❤
Happy to share a new article by myself, @Mirjam_Roeder & @PatriciaThornl4. This paper explores the environmental trade-offs associated with deploying gasification of coffee stems🌱over current coffee residues and energy uses in rural areas in Colombia. https://t.co/9s95tiYwkq

Arctic: +4.0°C
NH: +2.0°C
Equator: +1.5°C

How is it possible to have not one politician getting this?

Within the Supergen programme, we work to support our early career researchers (ECRs) to deliver the research we need to reach net zero.
Check out the new paper from a cross-Hub group of ECRs on strategic research priorities for net zero: https://t.co/s0ua6xKzP0

Glad to share our new research on the role of energy storage and cross-border interconnections for increasing the flexibility of future power systems. https://t.co/pjPuond1QJ
And in case anyone’s worried about emissions from Evergreen ships like these, carrying our stuff from outsourced factories, don’t be! Emissions from intl aviation and shipping are excluded from our statistics. So in theory, they don’t exist. It feels better that way, doesn’t it?

Hi @MendeleySupport - I'm very disappointed (angry) that you deleted our Group Library, without any email or a last notice - can't even be restored from backup! We are in the process of finalising a paper and this is the most stressful thing ever. That's 100+ references gone! 😭
We've a new paper looking at university policies to reduce emissions associated with food and flying, thread below with key reflections, full paper (open access) here: https://t.co/lQ2iXzl52A @cwjonez @carlymclachlan@SarahLMander @AliceClimate @jf_broderick@ChrissyClimate
We are recruiting! A postdoc role on cities and grassroots innovation working @TyndallManc with @carlymclachlan and @SarahLMander as part of @CAST_Centre. Further details and how to apply here- https://t.co/YKxIWXiffo
The last year has been tough as hell. I've read this quote of @AliceClimate's a couple of times and think it is such a hopeful and inspiring reminder of why we keep going. Excellent fodder for a Monday afternoon. Keep on keeping on folks 🙂
Quiero entender como perciben el mundo los que critican un día sin carne voluntario. ¿De verdad no se dan cuenta como estamos destruyendo el mundo? ¿no les preocupa la deforestación? ¿no creen en la ciencia?
May I add – we ‘the people’ have the power to make decision-makers (in policy especially) act on climate change *urgently* & make them accountable for decisions that don’t benefit the planet.
Happy to be part of this podcast series! Looking forward to Friday #ClimateAction#OYW
"Lockdown caused a period of forced experimentation, which resulted in low-carbon benefits, as ordinary schedules were suspended. How do we now 'lock-in' these benefits to drive a more sustainable recovery? @ClaireHoolohan from @TyndallManc explains. https://t.co/aTgWFoGcEd
