I will say one more thing on spygate before I go on holiday. I don’t blame William Salt. I genuinely feel sorry for him. Leave him alone and let him get on with his life and career.
It’s not his fault and he’s been dragged through the mud in the name of Southampton football club. He was asked to do something he believed was part of his job.
I’m incredibly sorry for Southampton supporters who had some joy in their life, who were proud of their club and the team for getting to the play off final. As fans we all know that feeling and why we cherish it and stick with our teams through thick and thin. Yes some reacted with defiant humour but see the world through someone else’s eyes and ask what would you have done?
The blame for this scandal is not theirs. They wanted to believe in their club, their tribe and stayed loyal. That’s what fans do.
They were failed

Don't think being an employee should even qualify you for a free ticket when there are 1,000s of ST holders who can't get one. So why would they get their travel covered as well?!
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Members of staff at Arsenal have been left angered and disappointed after being charged £859 for travel to the Champions League final in Budapest.

The DPL is great, as are the ppl who work tirelessly to push disability cricket forward. It’s not perfect; nothing is. But it’s not int. cricket & it’s not the place of others to pass opinion on who is & isn’t disabled. Of all the things to knock the ECB for, this isn’t it.
Exclusive by me for The Guardian:
ECB accused of allowing non-disabled cricketers to play in the Disability Premier League.
A quote from one parent sums it up well, I think: “You can’t call it a Disability Premier League if the players aren’t disabled."

An interview with Clarence Seedorf.
I reckon he’s the best pundit on TV, so I went behind the scenes at Amazon’s broadcast of City vs Real to ask about his approach to broadcasting, communication, calling out Mourinho & coaching.

NUFC fans want him to succeed. But he’s not showing himself to be a great manager ATM which is why he’s rightly under pressure. Not helped by the CEO coming out with unrealistic statements.
The only thing catastrophic is our away form.
And “militant”…come on.
