This is not a combative argument, I would just like people to know there are very very good reasons to crate train and they are most certainly not a form of punishment (if used correctly).

@let_me_atom So you have no wires in your house? No cusions for them to rip and choke on? So you wouldn’t keep a baby in a cot overnight to stop them from falling downstairs?????

@let_me_atom Oh and on top of that stops that chewing/biting anything hazardous to them. The cages are much less about keeping them housed, it’s more about keeping them safe.

@let_me_atom Correct crate/cage training is actually really good for a puppy and becomes their safe space! If used correctly that is! It also is an incredible tool for toilet training.
