Now if you think he is just a white ball player, here are his performances in red ball cricket. Before that let’s talk about his Ranji trophy debut.

There was no dearth of drama when it comes to his selection. After successful outing in Mushtaq Ali (T20) and Vijay Hazare(one day) tournaments, he was left out of Ranji trophy squad. After 3 matches where Railways couldn’t win & in fact suffered heavy defeat against Tamil Nadu by innings & 129 runs, selectors agreed to give him 1 chance.

On the day of match when he was supposed to make debut, mistakenly scorer was handed wrong team sheet which didn’t have his name! 🤦🏻‍♂️ When this was identified they had to make his registration during the match. which resulted in him batting as low as No.8.
