Today, Christians everywhere celebrate how Jesus gets angry when people who claim to be spiritual use their authority to exploit others in the name of God. #holyweek#christian https://t.co/BcfNCcH79v
@kevinmyoung In some ways, this reminds me of the Good Samaritan story, not in the sense of plot similarities, but in the idea that it's possible for those considered outside of God's people to, in certain instances, be shining examples of how to live God's way.
I grew up hearing about Jesus’ death in big, spiritual terms. It was bold about the afterlife, but missed what the story has to say about life right now, especially how power, indifference, and greed team up to do real harm. https://t.co/Tzr4a4VaDb
Want to know what Jesus is like? My friend wrote this article about what Jesus had to say about His work and mission. https://t.co/5dqUrVlx2L #faith#jesus#inspiration
🌿 Growing up, Lent was something I heard my Catholic friends talk about while my church jumped from winter straight into Easter. This year, I'm thinking about practicing Lent for myself. What does Lent mean to you? #Lent#Tradition#Faith https://t.co/XYA7NUSLX6
My friend @JasonInman wrote this kind yet challenging article about why we pray for world leaders (even the ones we disagree with).
It's not written in support of any political party or candidate. Rather, it's a plea for compassion despite differences.

Jesus is the Word of God. The word of God is truth. So truth isn’t a set of ideas or beliefs. Truth is a person. So if we speak true information in a way Jesus wouldn’t have said it, then we’re not speaking truth.
