Starting today, I would like to share daily tips on using Karate DSL!
I hope it helps you all to improve your Karate tests 😄 please let us know
@KarateDSL 😎
The feature that I most like in @KarateDSL is the parallel execution. Today I decreased 2 minutes (from 3m 33s to 1m 34s) in my test suite just adding the option "-T 5" - in other words, running in parallel with 5 threads. Happy 😁
The war over #Automation with #BDD:
@Nikolay_A00: BDD typically turns out badly for automation. https://t.co/TSWHzqUPR4
@aslak_hellesoy: But BDD isn't automation. https://t.co/bgYjneLpZW
Me: But BDD frameworks are really nice! https://t.co/7tmPejNWqA
@AutomationPanda@Nikolay_A00 @warpeddevguy @aslak_hellesoy > most teams do not practice BDD according to “official” theory
exactly. my thinking is: what if we approached from the other direction. a tool that is "automation first" but then gracefully flexes to handle "executable specifications". I think that is the right balance
Fala galera! Finalmente, você já pode me levar contigo no modo offline: o Podcast do Júlio está no ar! Estou no Anchor e no Spotify 💚 https://t.co/830KWh90PX Espero que gostem Abração!
agree with most of the points in this article of course :)
tis a pity though - that the author has assumed that @KarateDSL is a BDD framework and uses a screenshot of my tweet to make a point :) https://t.co/malu02IC6x
Karate users know better 👍
Daleeeee!
so can your UI automation framework hot-reload a debug session and re-play steps ? watch this :)
- debug from VS @Code
- breakpoints
- step over / step into / step out
- interactive REPL console (even update variables)
- step back !
- hot reload (yes really :)
coming soon.

the second half may look complicated, but test-automation veterans will surely appreciate what it does :)
