@heeljaded@YaBoyWiz_@frozenkold1 One last note, it’s my opinion that tempoing is easier but it’s almost a fact. There are people tempoing untimeably fast jump shots because temping is literally just flick up down . There isn’t a situational adjustment based on anything . Just close eyes-flick down-flick up
@heeljaded@YaBoyWiz_@frozenkold1 1/2 I don’t know what your skill level on the game is, and I’m not going to assume. But maybe you’re not playing at a level where only tempo is prevalent. Regardless my point isn’t that “everybod shouldn’t tempo or should” I don’t care if you tempo or not
@YaBoyWiz_@heeljaded@frozenkold1 It’s not about morals .I just said I see nothing wrong with somebody using tempo shooting. I’m saying 2k could make a better product by adjusting it because the idea of not having to time a jumper is too easy. Ppl that use meta sigs still have to combo and be better than nextman
@YaBoyWiz_@heeljaded@frozenkold1 “What aboutisms “is the same bullshit politicians use to reinforce corrupt polices . Somebody say “ police brutality is an issue” the someone ruins the progress by saying “oh what about welfare, oh what about gang violence” it’s irrelevant to the conversation.
@YaBoyWiz_@heeljaded@frozenkold1 Another fallacy. We’re debating bro, trying to find common ground . You’re sitting there talking ab “meta” dribbles. I use a Derrick white build with realistic animations. Even if I was a meta player that wouldn’t make the argument more or less valid
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ I’m not blaming anybody for tempoing, they’re trying to win too I just think it’s a mechanic that is too easy in nature that’s all
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ Long story short they made tempo so easy that ofc people are gonna switch bc they didn’t want to before but now they made it too easy in the process .
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ Now the same resistance to going back to something different(button) stays. Because why would ppl want to worry ab having to time a shot within milliseconds of green or miss, when they could shoot 70%+ jus repeating the same motion(tempo)
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ I agree on going against the grain to implement. But the sad truth is in the next statement you made . “Ppl hate to try anything new”. So 2k then add incentive by removing timing impact on tempo at all, and now all you have to do is flick your stick in the same motion to shoot.
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ Yea but I think reverting convos to “what about this and what about that” takes away from the intentions of what’s trying to be explained . Tempo shooting is genuinely an issuebut people are alr used to playing with it and I don’t know if 2k has the balls to go against the grain.
@heeljaded@frozenkold1@YaBoyWiz_ The zenning thing is an internal/community issue( that everybody has already complained about) that has literally nothing to do with core gameplay so it’s irrelevantly in this convo
@YaBoyWiz_ There can be multiple issues at once. Every game of 2k above gold plate consists of people shooting jumpers that are too fast to time reliably with button on their stick so they don’t have to time it, making it an almost automatic make. And you’re mad he complaining about that ?
@DanielSherwoo11@itsGeorgeyy Even in a series where Tatum was less than a year removed from a TORN ACHILLES he managed to win his minutes handidly, and JB lost . Regardless of either we Saw JB give up a 20pt lead in G7. Have the bench fight it back to even, just for him to get in the game and give it back
