Hey #kualumni remember Joe's Bakery? This Lawrence staple served generations of Jayhawks from 1952-2007.
Did you ever go to Joe's? And what do you remember ordering?

Hey @Amtrak! What’s up with the 11:06am train #1233 out of Moynihan? It’s 15 mins after departure and still says on time with no info. The few 100 people in line would like an update.
The state pension fund posted a strong 11.94% annual return, closing at an estimated $295.4B, the highest fiscal year-end value in its history. Under my watch, our diversified investment strategy is protecting the retirement security of nearly 1.3M public workers, retirees and their families.

#EarthDay is a good reminder to take advantage of the great outdoors. NY’s State Parks are a valuable public resource, seeing mostly a steady climb in visitors over the past decade.

NY farmland also saw a significant drop during the same period, down 100K acres. This was five times the national rate. NY should consider additional support for direct-to-consumer marketing, training and access to land along with boosting research to help farms adapt to climate change.

Our local farms are vitally important to providing healthy, fresh food to NYers, which is why new data is concerning. NY lost farms at a quicker pace than the country as a whole. There were 500 fewer farms in 2025 compared to the year before. This loss was double the national rate, according to the @USDA. 80% of those farms are considered small farms with sales less than $100K.
Wishing our Jewish friends and neighbors a meaningful Passover as celebrations begin this evening. The Passover story of the Jewish people overcoming persecution still echoes today. Let us remember the importance of faith, hope and resilience, especially in turbulent times.
Chag Pesach Sameach!
The average bonus paid to Wall Street employees was $246,900 for 2025, a 6% increase over the previous year. The rise reflects increased profits in NYC's securities industry.

The Pride Flag represents the diversity, struggle and courage of the LGBTQ+ community. Removing it from the Stonewall Nat'l Monument, a place central to the fight for equality, is a disgrace. It’s also a stark reminder in today’s America that the fight is far from over. The flag should and will rise again at Stonewall.

I appreciate NY’s farmers. We wouldn’t have local food if it wasn’t for their hard work. Much of it was on display at @NYFarmBureau's Taste of NY reception in Albany. I always enjoy connecting with farmers from every part of the state and hearing about what’s happening in agriculture.
No one believes this cover up from the White House, especially since they originally defended the post. We are all clear-eyed about who Donald Trump is and what he believes.
All of us, regardless of our politics should condemn a leader, any leader, who traffics in this kind of content, who is so blatantly racist, who is so bluntly unkind. This shocks me and it should shock us all.
An independent fiduciary and conflict of interest review of the $291.4 billion New York State Common Retirement Fund recognized it for its exemplary investment oversight, risk management, and ethical governance.

NY farms and our local food supply are so important to our quality of life and economy, but farmers face many challenges, only exacerbated by federal actions that are making it tougher to produce food. @NYSComptroller DiNapoli’s report breaks it all down.
Federal actions threaten NY farms and our local food supply and will lead to higher prices at the grocery store, my latest report shows.

NY is no stranger to winter weather, but the approaching storm looks to be a big one for the entire state. Please stay safe and keep an eye out for loved ones or neighbors who may need assistance.
My team stepped up in 2025 to meet the challenges facing New Yorkers. In the end, we saved taxpayers money, protected the state pension fund and studied the drivers of the affordability crisis. See for yourself how I’m making sure government is held accountable to you. https://t.co/4F0Hy69rwq
