@infin1tyonhigh a lot of OG fans didn’t really like IOH either so straying even further from basic pop punk and doing a more mainstream radio friendly stuff put people off. it’s grown on me over the years but at the time it came out i was majorly disappointed.
like i love this band with all my heart, travelled interstate and sat outside in the qld heat for 15 hours so i could have barricade. but i would never spend all my disposable income to follow a tour so i guess they do care more than me and that’s fine!!
anyway my hot take is having the ability to attend multiple shows/always camp out is definitely a privilege but that doesn’t mean they should stop doing it or are being selfish. your spot in the crowd is no one else’s problem but your own at the end of the day
