A warning from Hungary to the American conservative movement.

I spent five years as Political Director to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. I learned what it takes to build a successful conservative movement. Today I am learning another lesson: what happens when conservatives lose power.

When conservatives govern, they must never allow power and institutions to distance them from the people who elected them. Our strength comes from ordinary people believing that we are on their side: fighting for their families, jobs, security, communities and country.

And this is the warning from Hungary: if conservatives lose power, do not assume you will simply spend four years in opposition. Your opponents may use their victory to make sure you never come back.

What we are witnessing in Hungary is the construction of an authoritarian liberal system through a political and economic purge. The new government is not simply reversing conservative policies. It is dismantling the political, intellectual, media and economic infrastructure that made conservative government possible.

They are going after donors, business leaders, media personalities and intellectuals who supported or worked with the conservative government. The logic is simple: treat everyone who helped the conservative side as if they must be guilty of something, then turn the machinery of the state on them to find something that can be used against them. Authorities become instruments to intimidate and punish the people and networks that could help conservatives return.

The economic purge follows the same logic. Nationalizations, threats to private property and political intervention send a clear message: if you supported the wrong side, your business, property and livelihood may no longer be safe. The goal is to make supporting conservatives personally and economically dangerous.

And all this follows an election campaign in which almost everything was promised to everyone. But promises eventually collide with reality. Prices, wages, investment, energy and living standards cannot be fixed by communication. When the promised better life fails to arrive, a government has two choices: offer something better, or make sure there is no credible alternative.

That is the lesson from Hungary.

Stay on the side of the people while you govern and never take their trust for granted. And if you lose, reorganize immediately, stand by your people and find your way back to the voters as quickly as possible.

Because an authoritarian liberal system does not merely want conservatives to lose an election. It wants to make sure that, when people realize they were promised one thing and given another, they have no real alternative left to choose. And if this happens, ordinary citizens and ultimately the country itself pay a very high price.

Susan Rice said the quiet part out loud. She is threatening everyone in big business and big tech who has sided with Trump and invested in America.

Think about this for a moment. The party of violence, assassinations and rigged elections is now threatening those who have invested trillions in America, that once the Dems take power they will be coming for those who want a prosperous America and of course prosperous businesses because they dared walk away from the communist country they were putting forward. They dared walk away from woke and DEI programs that they spent so much time and money building.

She said we won’t forget those who undid everything we done which is specifically a shot fired to those opposing both woke and DEI. That was a direct threat and now it is time to answer that threat. Now it is time to shut her and the entire Obama clan the fuck up for good

What Rice did was indirectly threaten anyone who isn’t against Trump. Call it a threat. Call it blackmail. I call it illegal and someone needs to pay that Obama suck ass a visit. We watched that little Hitler scumbag, Merrick Garland come out with guns blazing. They were arresting everyone, SWAT visits and jail sentences. The scary part? These were innocent people.

We have evidence for years against very bad people and we haven’t done a fucking thing with it. What do you think they will do when the situation is reversed? Come after every last one of us.

Now it all becomes a race to justice. We have only until November to convince Americans to vote red and make sure these Commie scumbags never regain power. If we don’t get the Save Act passed it is our duty as American loving citizens to get off our asses and make these midterm elections Too Big To Rig!

If they win the midterms, they win the power. Once they get the power all hell will break loose. We watched the Supreme Court shut down the Biden administration and did they even care? No! They ignored their decisions. They continued doing whatever the fuck they wanted because these people don’t give a rats ass about law and order. They laugh at the Constitution. They want to burn it to ashes

Susan Rice’s threat better be taken seriously. When Democrats say they are coming believe them. They will do anything to once again have the power and finish what they started.

Think about this. They put away innocent people. That’s the power they have. As for us? We have enough evidence to put away very guilty people who tried to destroy our country and we haven’t even arrested one person.

I am telling you, we better win this race for Justice and start taking them down now, because if we don’t we will have no one to blame but ourselves. We have Congress, the Senate and the Constitution. We better make it rain and fast because they sent a warning. Now it is up to us to respond to that warning by putting them in jail starting with that miserable bitch.

One year ago today, Charlie Kirk left his last reply on X.

It's one I've never forgotten, because it was left to me on my post about Iryna Zarutska.

I never got to meet Charlie, he was k*lled the next day.

I thought I was radicalized by Iryna's de*th, but nothing could have prepared me for Charlie's.

What I saw from the Left was so horrifying, it shook me to my core and I've never gotten over it.

Even now, I am shaking with anger and disgust going through everything I remember from the day Charlie was k*lled.

I saw billboards of Charlie in my small town vandalized with red paint with truly vile things written on them.

I saw Leftists dancing on TikTok and PLEADING for more violence against other conservatives, including myself.

I will never forget what I saw.

Charlie was light and I saw true and utter darkness.

...but even in de*th Charlie brought light

A few weeks after his funeral, a young man and his wife and kids showed up at our church.

He caught me afterwards and said he followed me on X and came back to church, for Charlie.

A year later, we are now dear friends.

There are a million of these stories.

I remember my wife and I watching his videos together one night last year.

She looked at me and said, "I used to hate him, and I have no idea why..."

Because if you actually listened to Charlie instead of just listening to clips out of context, you realize he LOVED.

He didn't just listen and he didn't just debate.

You cannot fake love, no matter how hard you try.

It oozes from you and you cannot contain it and you cannot force it.

...and when I watch Charlie's videos, especially when he's debating someone he disagrees with, you can see he loves the person he's in front of and he wants them to see the light.

It's beautiful.

...but honestly, some days, when I remember what people said and did after he was k*lled and messages I get weekly from evil people telling me what they want to do to MY family...

I have a hard time finding any of of that love in myself at all. I'm just angry and filled with rage a lot.

God still has a lot of work to do in me.

But then I think about that young dad who walked into our church with his wife and kids.

I think about the friendship we now have.

I think about those children and mine growing up in church because their dad watched Charlie and decided it was time to come back.

I wish I could tell Charlie about them.

I wish he could meet all the people who are going to spend the rest of their lives changed because he was here.

I wish I’d gotten the chance to thank him.

But I still have the chance to live a life better than I did a year ago.

To study my Bible and to understand what I believe well enough to defend it.

...and something I don't do well enough:

To SPEAK UP when staying quiet would be easier, and to love people when I have every temptation to hate them.

I’m still angry. I’m still heartbroken.

But I heard you Charlie and I’m trying.
