@mrdaniel989 3 out of 5 of these players were bought by cheating clubs, City, Chelsea, and a Saudi club. So one of the answers is that having enormous amounts of artificial wealth propping up bullshit clubs means you guys lose your best players. Just like when you lost Grealish to City.
@markgoldbridge So in 2.5 decades we’ve had 1 new winner. In other decades that would have been 5. All that City and Chelsea have done is taken away the opportunity for other clubs to compete. The complete opposite of what they claim.
@markgoldbridge 1970-1980 Derby County, Leeds United, Everton and Nottingham Forest won it. (None for “cartel” Man United)
From 1960-1970 Burnley, Tottenham, Ipswich Town, Everton and Leeds United won it. (None for “cartel” Arsenal) 2/3
@markgoldbridge Since 2003 (Abramovich takeover) , the only club to win the league that isn’t the 2 cheating clubs or “the cartel” is Leicester.
1990-2000 Leeds and Blackburn won it. (None for “cartel” Liverpool)
1980-1990 Aston Villa and Everton won it. (None for “cartel” Man United) 1/3
