Israel was meant to fully withdraw its troops from Gaza under the ceasefire signed in October. Instead of pulling back, Israeli forces are expanding and entrenching heavily fortified positions across the enclave.

I believe we now have evidence of FIFA's World Cup ticketing shell game: FIFA is colluding with third-party resale platforms for its own supply management.
Look at this SeatGeek map (secondary market!) for Saudi Arabia vs Cape Verde. The circled areas are not random single resale tickets, but large, contiguous blocks of seats: entire rows and swaths in sections 101/102, 112/113, 119/120, 134–137, 139, ...
The blue circles appeared weeks ago, then the purple blocks suddenly showed up a day or two ago, and the red blocks seem to have appeared recently too.
That's not what ordinary fan or even commercial scalper resale looks like who resell pairs, fours, and scattered seats. Instead, this looks like inventory being dumped in bulk onto secondary markets, at prices below FIFA's official site.
Why doesn't FIFA just lower prices on its own site Probably because official price cuts could trigger refund demands, chargebacks, or consumer-protection headaches from fans who already bought at much higher prices.
Instead FIFA keeps official prices high, avoids openly admitting the market-clearing price is lower, and moves unsold inventory through third-party resale platforms instead.
Shell, whose Australian CEO couldn't tell me what their revenue was or how much 🇦🇺 gas they export during a senate inquiry, make huge $ by exporting gas through Singapore.
Of course gas companies + countries like Singapore don't want us to get a fair return for our gas - they're making a killing out of it. But why do the major parties want this to continue?
It's time to get a fair return for our gas exports.

Go to https://t.co/Q2DISHjCHC and write to your MP to call on them to support a 25% tax on gas exports.
@GiveDirectly has sent $1 billion in cash directly to people in extreme poverty. Their model has no middle man and study after study shows it works. Any billionaire could call them tomorrow and help pull an entire country out of poverty. For some, it would cost about a year in the stock market. I’m honestly baffled: why is there not a single billionaire who just makes the call to @NickAllardice, GiveDirectly’s CEO? Instead, they fund vanity projects and call it philanthropy. The solutions exist but the ambition is pointed in the wrong direction.
🚨 A Palestinian mom was shot point blank in her head by IDF soldiers while she was carrying her child.
Retweet and expose Israel if you have a little Humanity left in you.
@PMalinauskasMP Finally! A policy for the most overlooked, cash-strapped group in SA: people with millions in equity.
Nothing says "equity" like a $100k tax break for someone who bought their home for the price of a sourdough loaf in 1978. First-home buyers must be thrilled! 🍞📉 #SApol#Housing
It's INSANE to think that QUEENSLAND is one of the biggest GAS producers in the 🌏 and yet our domestic manufacturer of FERTILISER in Brisbane wasn't able to secure an affordable supply of gas to stay operating, because the Qld gas cartel has consistently prioritised lucrative #LNG exports.
➡️ This has now caused 🇦🇺 to be predominantly reliant on imported UREA (90%) for our food production.
➡️ 65% of our urea comes from the Middle East.
📈 Such geopolitical disruption as the Israel-USA-Iran war means that fertiliser supply (critical to food production) will be heavily constricted, with prices going through the roof.
💁♀️ Imagine if we had a gas reservation policy that actually safeguarded adequate gas supply at reasonable prices for our own NATIONAL INTEREST needs rather than solely for the profits of foreign-owned multinational gas company shareholders.
🧑🌾 We would currently have a stable domestic supply of urea to ensure ongoing food production and reasonable pricing.
🔮 The Qld Govt was very aware when granting #CSG project approvals back in 2010 that domestic gas supply & pricing would be negatively impacted once exports started ex Gladstone and yet no reservation policies were imposed.
If only politicians had long-term vision & objective foresight as mandatory requirements of their elected positions, and were held accountable for indiscretions & bad policy decisions, that are sadly now coming home to roost.

The Alaska Highway serves mostly Americans and US military driving to and from Alaska.
And yet the Country of USA never contributes to its maintenance!!!! Canada pays for it!
PM @MarkJCarney we should shut down the highway and start negotiations IMMEDIATELY until we are treated fairly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
If 18 Israelis were killed today, it would be treated as a civilizational crisis and Western governments would rush to condemn it.
But Israel killing 18 Palestinians during a so called ceasefire? Total silence.
