it's actually really fucked that basically everyone in the US is suddenly being forced to mourn a nazi or lose their job or livelihood, i've never seen anything even close to this for any other shooting or death in the US during my lifetime
Charlie Kirk aside, imagine the crowd hyping his pro-gun rhetoric. Then a shot rings out. In that instant of panic when they realize they might die by the very thing they worship, did the irony finally hit them?
charlie kirk opposed the civil rights act, called george floyd a scumbag, said he’d be worried abt black pilots & that he’d force his daughter to carry a pregnancy to term if she was raped.
he shouldn’t have been killed but he def was an extremist.
America is a place in 2025 where the news of one shooting at a college campus (in Utah, where Charlie Kirk was shot) is interrupted by the news of another shooting at a high school (outside Denver, where at least two students have been rushed to the hospital)
I genuinely hoped he survived for the CHANCE that maybe going through such a traumatic experience for something he so proudly defended could have changed his outlook on life or politics. Gun violence took that chance entirely & now he’s just gonna be a martyr to blame the left.
