@SamMuffly (M.S. in Commerce ’12) may be a Special Gift Officer for a children’s hospital, but he says that #GivingTuesday offers all of us the chance to “make a difference at any dollar amount.” https://t.co/ZDEfXc9TrA
@parknycapp please find a way to build functionality so that if there is an active violation in a parking zone then the app should not accept payment for parking. It is infuriating to pay for parking and still receive a ticket for street cleaning for literal 3 minutes.
Anthony Bourdain said: "Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride." (Ht Jamieson Faulcon)

The top 5 regrets of the dying and how I try to live my version of a good life.
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
I aim to minimize the regrets I have in life and #3 is still a work in progress for me.
Using Jeff Bezos' regret minimization model as a mental model has helped me reflect and think about my version of a good life (with as few regrets as possible.)
