If you go into cardiac arrest, without a defibrillator, you have a 7% chance of survival. If a defibrillator is on the patient within 3 mins, the chances of survival is over 70%.
Every school, university, workplace, recreational place should have one. They should be everywhere.
I’ve been qualified 9 MONTHS and within the first 6 I was thrown onto a Covid ward. This pandemic has emotionally traumatised me and will stay with me for the rest of my life. Pull your finger out Boris. Give us nurses the reward we deserve.
Yet, all we get is a clap, a fucking clap. I’m done with this Tory government. Oh and don’t forgot mail boxes got painted blue for the NHS! I’m so grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve had during the pandemic but our government needs to step up.
Don’t get me wrong I’m happy that parts of the public sector got their reward but what about the people who have literally sat by your relatives bedside when they are taking their last breaths? Day after day watching people who can’t breathe and drowning in their own fluid.
What about the nurses who literally put their lives on the line with inadequate PPE and saved your life Mr Johnson? We are so undervalued and so under appreciated that the only reward we got was a clap on a Thursday night.
Our teachers, doctors, armed forces personnel, and public sector workers have responded to the unprecedented challenges of coronavirus.
To recognise their efforts on the front line, we will be increasing their pay this year.
