Brenda is busy with mayoral work, but Victoria (Hemel Town Ward) has kindly offered to assist with Highfield Ward work while I recover.
I will respond to emails/messages when I return.
You can contact @DacorumBC on 01442 228000.
While I am away from my emails, please get in touch with [email protected] or [email protected]. Brenda is super busy with mayoral work, but Victoria (Hemel Town Ward) has kindly offered to assist with Highfield Ward work while I recover.
I'll be taking some time away from my emails for a while from January due to medical reasons. I will have limited capacity to do work in this time and do not have a set date for my return.
Yesterday, I was privileged to meet these young
people who are completing
@kingstrust with @hertsfire. They have been refreshing Highfield Community Centre, sanding, and painting in the toilets
and hallway.
The next step for them is work experience. They're going to smash it!
In 2020 I was a part of the Lib Dem group who vehemently rejected the rushed reg 18. Then, in 2023, I was part of the Lib Dem group who got the new plan in place which was adapted to residents needs and protecting green spaces.
Save the dates!

Last night at full Council, it was announced that 8 Liberal Democrat Councillors would be resigning the whip and going Independent. I am one of these 8 women.
This has not been an easy decision at all. We cannot remain in a group where the leadership ignores and dismisses bullying, harassment and sexual harassment. We will continue to represent our residents as independent councillors.
Unfortunately, our Hemel Hempstead MP voted to approve devastating cuts to the winter fuel payments.
In his short time in office he has voted to trap children in poverty, and now to punish pensioners.
We deserve better.
Cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance will put untold stress on pensioners.
We all know that the Conservatives left public finances in a mess, but vulnerable older people should not be forced to choose between eating and heating this winter.
Liberal Democrats will oppose this cut.
Rather a face to face conversation than an email or phone call? Just want to put a face to the name?
Come along to have a cuppa and a chat with me on the first Wednesday of every month at The Highfield Community Centre, 6pm-7:30pm.
The next one is on Wednesday 4th September.
