โAre you scared of launching the Sensei collection with the current market?โ
In short, no, not at all. It is irrelevant.
We have never depended on the NFT market to deliver our message of love.
We are not tied to the NFT market, we do not compete with NFT collections.
I would care about the nft market if the focus of our project was on floor price.
The Love Meta is its own sustainable market, it is an infinite energy source.
Unconditional love is not moved by any money, floor price, liquidity, or markets.
Namaste family is stronger than ever. The Love Meta transcends all of web3.
No project has ever done this before. There is no reference for us out there.
When many people are truly faithful and unified, external factors are irrelevant.
The potential for NFTs is huge tbh. We are closer to the bottom than to the top.
I want the best for other nft collections, but we are not limited by that market.
i used to try to move mountains to appease the community in times of chaos. every single time it's backfired.
the truth is, on the internet you either stand by your conviction or you're a pussy.
i've been a pussy in the past.
like the bridge off SOL. everyone in the community was panicking (myself included) during FTX. i tried to fix their anxiety. in reality i was just being a pussy.
it always feels good in the moment. you're the "based" dev that's saving their bags. you get twitter blowjobs everyday. i was in that spot for a while. it feels nice.
but everyone in that exact spot today, that plays that game, will have it backfire on their face one day.
i said let it go lower and i meant it. i still do.
i said i want to allow our community to come back home and i meant it. i still do.
today, i am saying that i believe that art upgrades and changing nft art as a rallying mechanism is stupid. i mean it.
i believe that antifragility is the answer. that's my conviction. not just building the best community, but the strongest one.
i believe that this whole NFT ecosystem has been experiencing a fundamental, violent repricing for the last year.
it's easy to fixate on outliers and say "oh they're doing well, the whole space must be fine".
study the dwindling volumes (even with incentivized bidding). the lack of any new successful mints. the lower ceiling on upside. the dwindling volumes. study the transition of ico's to defi.
nfts will not look like they did in 2021 again. the only nft communities that will survive are the ones that are able to build a real community.
and a year of me being a pussy might have set us back, but i wouldn't have it any other way.
in terms of not doing art upgrades anymore... it's simple.
why bottleneck creativity into a singular event? why play an unwinnable game (upgrading a subjective medium like art)?
welcome to an unshackled community of artists & a clear demand to fill.
welcome to season โ
