Friartown had a setback today and that sucks. In the first 24 hours of this episode, we have seen it absolutely shatter every metric we have in terms of views, view hours, and downloads.
I’m only pointing this out, because it’s a clear indication that this fanbase is rejuvenated/excited and believes that this team/regime is different. Not only will this be a good team, but it’ll be an exciting one at that. They will still have an awesome year and this is just the beginning.
Special thanks to @KyleMacCBB who is in the engine room working his ass off getting these shows out. If you’re not following him already, he deserves it. See you Saturday!
This sport is so incredibly done. We are genuinely in its final days.
The NCAA argued we would be a ‘competitive advantage’ if Pinion/Simpson were eligible.
We are now objectively at a competitive disadvantage because the NCAA has allowed state courts to decide rosters.
In the words of the late great Coach AAR! “Reeeeeelaxxxxxxx” Friartown! The Friars will be just fine! Dink Pate will always be a Friar, and we fully support his decision given the uncertainty of his situation due to the NCAA’s ruling regarding his time in the G-League. Fair, no….not even close. But life is not fair, and the Friar’s will fight on! Go Friars!!! Love you kid! @IAMTHESHOOTER1 Go be great!!!
Who is Caleb Durbin?
For the blind, he is light. For the hungry, he is bread. For the sick, he is the cure. For the lonely, he is company. For the sad, he is joy. For the prisoner, he is freedom. For the poor, he is treasure. For the Red Sox, he is everything.
If you are going to see @NoahKahan in Fenway this week you are in for one. An artist in his prime immersed in his most emo locale of New England (Kahan is from Vermont). It is, undoubtedly, the best place to see him. His songwriting, voice, energy, showmanship, will never be better than it is now. He played 13 songs from his new album and the crowd knew all the words. When many artists play new songs at concerts people go to the bathroom. Kahan fans are TRUE fans.
His dark, expressive features and easy charm fills Fenway--and he has a great rapport with his excellent band. "Paul Revere", "Orange Juice", ect. He played 26 songs in the rain and they all went over the monster (Except "Downfall"--one of my favs on new album. Needs to be more intimate, IMO) There were brief chit chats, great pacing, NO POLITICS, and fireworks at the end. A celebration of his sincere gratitude with a New England video travel log behind him. The video screens and backdrops were artfully and tastefully done. Smart, fun, energetic, production. This young generation of New Englanders has their James Taylor. (I would have loved to hear a JT cover last night.) A voice for a generation that will have staying power. Bravo, @NoahKahan
