Your statement about JAGs not being officers chosen by the pres doesn’t add up. JAGs are officers, and in the Marine Corps, we have the same initial 8+ months training as any officer, be it LogO, Pilot, or Infantry

We are not taught that at all Naval Justice School, where Marines, Coasties, and Navy JAGs all go for training. Your job 99 times out 100 is to find a path to yes for a commander

@BrianTerry180 @politico It wasn’t a decision under the UCMJ. It was an administrative decision. The trial judiciary within the military is for criminal cases only, they cannot provide remedy to administrative issues. In such cases, fed is appropriate.
