Let us do this today dear Zimbabweans.
Let us RETWEET this GoFundMe Link for our brother, the Zimbabwean journalist and political prisoner, Blessed “Dhara” Mhlanga who was jailed without trial for helping expose the attempt to steal POSB.
A RETWEET is free

Today, Zimbabwe has over 70 political prisoners, including opposition leader and former cabinet minister Jameson Timba, and political and anti-corruption activist Jacob Ngarivhume.
They are accused of crimes they did not commit.
Timba and the 65 others who were arrested at his home have been in jail for 106 days.
Jacob Ngarivhume was arrested on the eve of the SADC summit for supposedly planning with Timba, yet the two men have never met.
His real crime is fighting against corruption, particularly his 2020 threat to mobilise citizens to march against it.
Zimbabwe’s corrupt tyrant, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has never forgiven him for that.
Let us keep these political prisoners in our political discourse, they are in jail for fighting for us and for our rights.
Keeping quiet about these men and women makes the corrupt Zimbabwean tyrant comfortable and happy!
The arrest and detention of Jameson Timba, Jacob Ngarivhume, and others, who are targeted for their political views and opposition to corruption, is a violation of their basic human rights and the principles of democracy.
Citizens, human rights groups/civil society, and the media/journalists also have a vital role in advocating for the release of these political prisoners and ensuring that their stories are not forgotten.
Public awareness and ongoing discussions about these cases will help generate the necessary support to push for positive change and accountability in Zimbabwe.
By keeping the plight of these political prisoners in the public eye and continuing to advocate for their release, we will contribute to the larger struggle for democracy, human rights, and the eradication of corruption in Zimbabwe and beyond.
Ignoring their plight will make it difficult to mobilise against corrupt rule because many will feel that they will simply be forgotten if they end up like Timba or Ngarivhume.
It costs us not even a penny to simply keep their stories in the public consciousness, it costs nothing at all, just love and compassion!

Retweet for the biggest heroes of AFCON: the DR Congo players who participated in this brave nonviolent protest last night. A Congolese friend explained the symbolism to me like this: “People are being killed in DRC but the world is silent.“ May we no longer be silent! #FreeCongo

Thread: What is happening in Sudan!
I am writing this for non Arabic speakers, I will explain what has been happening in Sudan during the last 9 months, since 15th of April 2023.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
Help Sudan!!
If you see it, its your responsibility to spread it.
This wine brand called Kumusha is made by a Zimbabwean called @tnashenyamudoka.
Imagine if ALL Zimbabweans who see this tweet would repost it to give Tinashe’s wine brand more visibility as we head towards Christmas.
Imagine each time you see Kumusha you would repost it, imagine what it would do for Tinashe’s wines.
I say so because Black Zimbabweans struggle to support each other even with reposts or retweets that won’t cost them a single penny.
It is the reason why our struggles have taken so long to succeed, we focus more where there is personal benefit than giving another person from our community a push.

The truth hurts, but nobody develops without the truth being told and acting on it.
