Another tanker caught fire under Otedola Bridge today. The emergency response matters, but this isn't the first serious tanker incident there. Putting out each fire is necessary; preventing the next one deserves the same attention.

You can be at a Nigerian wedding, quietly enjoying your rice, when someone leans over to tell you who is fighting who, whose marriage is having problems, and who offended the family.

You came to eat, not to receive a full family update. 😭

When a market seller accepts your price immediately, you don't even feel like you've won. You start wondering how much lower you could have gone.

Rainy mornings are bad enough. You're trying to save your shoes, watch the time and sort out transport before the workday has even started.

@FabrizioRomano That picture says it all. Arda robs him on the line and Mbappe is still laughing. He knew Kylian would get another one later - and he did.

@FabrizioRomano @CLMerlo Makes sense to keep continuity. He built more than a winning team, it's an identity. Taking it to 2030 gives Argentina a proper bridge into the post- Messi era.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@FabrizioRomano He's not wrong there. Tactics get debated all day but if the running isn't there both ways, no system will save you. Should be bare minimum at this level.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@FabrizioRomano That's the standard answer when backing questions come up. Make it about the game, not about you. He knows any other answer becomes the headline.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@FabrizioRomano That 'my whole life is wrapped around this' line hits. You can tell it's personal, not just a job. He's angry, not making excuses or talking about his own future. Just honest frustration.

In some Nigerian homes, planning the evening includes checking the generator fuel. It’s not just “is there light?” but “how long can we afford to keep it on?”

You think the ride fare is settled, then your phone rings and the conversation starts again: AC, traffic or extra money. You haven't even started the journey, and you're negotiating again.

A cheaper pot of jollof is welcome, but it doesn’t automatically make the household budget feel lighter. The food bill is only one part of what a household has to cover.

BBNaija to Special Adviser is quite the plot twist. And the reminder to celebrity appointees to actually do the work? Probably the most important line.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@austinclips1 True, it's a lot. 44 contacts already, mostly health workers, and the condition worsening makes tracing even more urgent. The priority is thorough monitoring and transparent updates without panic.

They’ve identified 44 contacts in Abuja, and the Ebola patient’s condition has reportedly worsened. It’s fair to expect a serious response and clear accounting for any emergency funds—without jumping to conclusions.

@Arsenal That finish from that angle shouldn't be possible. Coming from behind at Allianz to make it 2-2 in the 82nd, that's serious character from Arsenal.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@FabrizioRomano Quad in October is the last thing you want to hear. The way he went off that early tonight didn't look good at all. Fingers crossed the tests are kinder than that first reaction.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@HandofArsenal Eze coming on that early and still controlling it says a lot. That Gyokeres assist for the equaliser was huge. Fair result at Allianz given the run you described. Hope the Bukayo knock isn't serious.

[Sam Off Script @samoffscript]

@Arsenal That late push at the Allianz sums it up. 2-1 down away and still finding the 82nd minute equaliser. Proper battling indeed.
