Some people think it’s just cos of sin that God wiped out the earth during the days of Noah, NO it wasn’t cos of that.

God always knew man would sin after the fall, & there was provision for that.
However, the blood line of man had been corrupted by fallen angels.

“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”
Genesis 6:12

Only Noah & his family was an exemption. Glory be to God there was a descendant of Seth that was yet to be corrupted; which was needed to be preserved for the seed of the woman (Jesus) to come as promised.
God had to wipe out the earth, otherwise, it was only a mater of time before all blood line would be corrupted, hence, disrupting the coming of Jesus.

However, did that automatically stop further corruption? No

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:37
