Saline Township did everything in their power to stop this data center. Then the wealthy developer threatened to bankrupt the township in litigation, ultimately forcing this upon the community.
Now their conquest will be rewarded with tax breaks.
@joeyigw@NASASpaceflight Definitely below. I’ve seen comparisons to both Beirut and the Halifax explosions. The devastation caused by those is far greater than New Glenn. Beirut left a crater, and Halifax reduced areas to rubble. If New Glenn were that powerful, nothing would be left of the pad.

There was briefly a discussion on the @NASASpaceflight live stream about the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse following the New Glenn explosion. The lighthouse is built from stone and is likely intact. The glass panels in the lantern room were probably destroyed,
Though confirmation is needed to verify its status. Thankfully, the original Fresnel lens was removed a long time ago for preservation, and the modern lenses are made of acrylic which is much more durable than glass prisms.
Football is played because it’s a game, and it is played for the love of the sport. Adding an extra game because you did well is part of the fun. If you think that bowl games outside of the CFP are pointless, then you don’t love the game.
Because football is fun, Brady. Playing football is fun. Bowl games are fun.
Are there a few players on each team leaving for the draft that may want to sit out? Sure, and I totally get it. For the remaining 95% of every roster it is another chance in a finite career to play the best sport on earth.
This mentality absolutely SUCKS and will do more to ruin college football than anything else.
