Miracle Boy in Dragon Land, one of the best homebrew games released for #AtariST computers, is now available for free https://t.co/nRpxCKvDnr #atari #retrogames

@onorisoft What do you think about a side-scrolling game that uses 3D assets in the background and *Paper Mario*-style characters in the foreground? That would let you use your current 3D skills while avoiding the complexities of full 3D worlds.

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@E_Penumbra It'll be back, but not right away. We'll share the news when the time is right 😉

After 4 years of development, Miracle Boy in Dragon Land is finally available! 19 crazy levels and 5 epic bosses await you in the incredible kingdom of Dragon Land!

@E_Penumbra Thanks Eldritch. Do you think you could remove the game from your page? I'd like to make it available again, but later.

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@E_Penumbra @maraka77i Paying for a digital product grants you individual usage rights. Distributing it is theft. You can imagine the damage this kind of practice can do to small, independent games. I would like you to remove the game from your page.

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@E_Penumbra @maraka77i @E_Penumbra You have a strange way of thanking me by stealing my game.

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@maraka77i Thanks a lot @maraka77i :)

@E_Penumbra @maraka77i Hello @E_Penumbra. Have you checked your spam folder? If so, could you please contact me at [email protected]? THANKS :)

@keithclarkcouk @_APEXnow_ @The_Jeremy Of course but you can ask for requirement a 1mb machine if it's a problem

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@keithclarkcouk @_APEXnow_ @The_Jeremy May be you can use cpu to replace the use of Blitter and so avoid problem with rasters

[SidecarTridge @sidecartridge]

I just uploaded the demo version of a super cool homebrew game, Miracle Boy in Dragon Land, to the Floppy Image database. You can now grab it on your @sidecartridge Multidevice! The Japanese vibes in this game are absolutely on point. Want to learn more? Check it out in the official site of the game: https://t.co/Ll7XB8iqAP

HARMFUL PARK for PS1 (Sky Think System, 1997)

Side scrolling #2D cute 'em up in the same style of the Parodius games. Was released only in Japan, and re-released in 2012 for the PSN only in Japan again, which makes it a true PlayStation hidden gem.

@RetroRacing Thanks for your help! Even though I don't think I'll make this game Blitter friendly because it would cost me too much development time, that's really nice of you!

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@zehavoc Yes. This could work on a 520 but there would be less diversity in the tiles and it would not be possible to enter houses for example. As memory sticks are easily found and are not expensive, this seemed an acceptable solution.

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

And here is the first level of the game! It's both an introduction to the story and a tutorial to discover the basic controls of the game. I hope you will like it! https://t.co/uM76JohUHJ

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@RetroRacing It's a very cool experience and Michal, the creator of the event, is super nice. In short, just happiness 🙂 Thank you for your comment on my game. I must say that yours is a reference in terms of speed on STe 😉

[Samuel Blanchard @samoteph.bsky.social @samoteph]

@zehavoc Thanks 🙂 Just 16*20 tiles (itself composed of two tiles) preshifted from 4 to 4 in double buffering
