NO you cant rebuild a old C130 into a J.

the C130J is now called a Super Hercules and has few things in common with the ones in the bone yard.
engines, electrical, cockpits, nearly everything is different.

aircraft at the bone yard that will probably never fly again are.

C-130E Hercules: 103 (older cargo haulers, many from Vietnam-era)
C-130H Hercules: 65 (upgraded workhorses, still common in reserves)
MC-130 variants (special ops): MC-130E (10), MC-130H (17), MC-130P (21)—total around 48
AC-130 gunships: AC-130H (6), AC-130U (15), AC-130W Stinger II (8)—29 total
KC-130 tankers (Marine/Navy): KC-130F (16), KC-130R (2), KC-130T (8)—26
HC-130 search-and-rescue: HC-130H (2), HC-130N (8), HC-130P (17)—27
Others: EC-130H (electronic warfare, 9), WC-130H (weather, 1), TC-130H (trainer, 2), LC-130 (ski-equipped, 4), DC-130A (drone carrier, 1)
