OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

Migz Zubiri, the Senate President, could potentially face liability for obstruction of justice for his failure to promptly address Senator Risa Hontiveros’s request for the issuance of a subpoena to Apollo Quiboloy.

The subpoena was intended to compel Quiboloy to appear before a Senate investigation aimed at legislating measures to address the multiple allegations against him.

These allegations include using his position as the self-proclaimed “Appointed Son of God” within his church to sexually abuse his followers.
