@spikesguides I have some decent stores around me out in the western part of MN. JK Outdoors is pretty good in Fergus Falls. It’s a hike for somebody in the metro, though. I’d imagine if you get outside of the metro though you’ll have some luck.

Resuscitating a drowned child is one of the worst experiences I've had as a paramedic. Almost walked away from EMS after it. It was at a lake where my kids swim and the child was about the same age as one of mine at the time. I still get anxious with kids in the water and the hypervigilance shoots sky high.

I've had a few adult drownings and even though those suck, a kid hits you different. Especially when the mother is right there watching.

I've been irritated by the utopian attitudes of many in the Libertarian Party. I've been involved in my state party for quite a few years and have gone to a couple of national conventions. It is the biggest gathering of autistic purists I have ever seen. It seems everybody knows the correct answer and if you don't agree with them your "not a real libertarian".

Don't get me wrong, there are many good pragmatic libertarians, but we will never succeed as a party because of that utopian fanaticism. It's no different than socialist/commie utopians.

I also see the "libertines" in the party as a major hinderance. I know many good liberty loving folks who get turned off by the ridiculous antics and statements those types of people make. I try and not get too blackpilled about it all, but it is hard.

Infantry will always adapt. There will be anti-drone weapons developed, infantry tactics will evolve, and there will always be a need to send a rifleman into the breech.

What you said, though I understand where you are coming from, has been said since the advent of the machine gun, or thermal imaging/night vision, or probably even with grape shot. In the end the wars always seems to end with the riflemen overtaking an objective.

@anthonynwin @realMAG1775 This tracks, though many of us out state have broke from the DFL bullshit. My grandparents were definitely DFL, but since the DFL went the way of Marx, it’s hard to say if they would be today (minus one, who is still hardcore DFL).

Thinking about it, I have a 3D printer and I wonder if TPU filament would not cause a reaction? Might have to try something with that.

I can't use my CPAP because I haven't found a mask material that doesn't cause a reaction that causes my skin to become inflamed and infected. The barrier materials don't work, neither does petroleum jelly.

It's not a good look in healthcare to show up with gross infection on my nose. Also, I realize its probably going to kill me one day with all of the effects from sleep apnea. Wouldn't be surprised if that is the ultimate goal of the VA. Dead vets equals less money paid out over the long term.
