@bob_fedderly@bobzimmermp There's truth to parts of that but todayโs challenges are bigger than any one issue & we can't cant change what happened decades ago. Better fibre access, permitting, forest management, wildfire mitigation, and support for value added manufacturing all need to part of the plan.
@bobzimmermp Thanks again, Bob! Appreciate the opportunity to discuss PGโs priorities and the tremendous opportunities ahead for Northern BC.
Thanks for recognizing the importance of bringing those priorities directly to Ottawa.
Looking forward to seeing those Mr. PG socks in the House! ๐งฆ
๐ฃ The status quo is not working.
PG City Council has been pushing hard for involuntary care and more intensive mental health and addictions resources for years now - and franklyโฆ we need it.
Compassion and accountability are not mutually exclusive.

No one should go to work and not make it home.
Today is the National Day of Mourning.
It isnโt just about remembrance, itโs about responsibility.
Safety belongs to every employer, every worker, every workplace. That standard should be non-negotiable.
We remember. We do better.
Prince George in Victoria last week. 20+ meetings with Ministers, MLAs, and gov staff.
Public Safety. Healthcare. Housing. Seniors. Mining. Forestry. Energy. Infrastructure. Key priorities we moved forward.
PG is the economic hub of BC!

Absolutely heartbreaking news out of Tumbler Ridge. My thoughts are with the families, first responders, and the entire community.
This is tragic. The North always stands together, and I know everyone in Prince George is thinking of Tumbler Ridge tonight.
@aileenmachell Wow! Thanks for all your work to benefit British Columbians - and particularly for your efforts in helping Prince George access government for important conversations and resources. Good luck on the next challenge and hope we'll keep in touch... we will keep in touch!
Not taking sidesโฆ not getting politicalโฆ not even commenting on the abilities on display this past weekendโฆ Iโm just simply observing how weird it is that we seem to use pancake flipping proficiency as a benchmark for who is best suited to be our Prime Minister.
Itโs odd, no?

This motion addresses the urgent need for a psychiatric hospital in Northern BC & proposes an advocacy strategy for its urgent establishment, right here in #CityofPG

1/4 @ckpgnews put together a one-hour special on the growing division in politics โ A topic that I think couldnโt be more timely.
They taped it back in July, but it sure rings true today.
Iโd encourage you to tune in!

3/4 Call me crazy, but I truly believe people would prefer to see their politicians fight to get along, instead of just plain fight.
Itโs okay to disagree, but the brand of politics I subscribe to the most is where we recognize our โopponentsโ strengths & collaborate.
Thoughts?
I am fairly Twitter-absent, but tonight I was reflecting back on my favourite Twitter experience...
That one time during lockdown when our entire community, those who want to be us... and KISS, came together to support https://t.co/hrGiT7jkUk against those goats and @j_mcelroy
Todayโs news in #bcpoli has me coming out of Twitirement.
@shirleybondโs legacy: BCโs hardest working MLA. Her absence fighting for the North in the leg will be huge.
